ASUS ROG announces its programme with tests, official competitions and live entertainment

ASUS ROG, the number one selling consumer notebook in France and the world's leading IT company, is pleased to participate in the new edition of Paris Games Week - the largest trade show dedicated to the world of gaming in France - from November 2 to 6, with an incredible programme.

During the five days of events, ASUS ROG, along with its Esport structure BK ROG, will offer a multitude of activities such as free access to the latest games on laptop computers, as well as numerous animations with renowned influencers, Republic Of Gamers ambassadors and professional gamers, and the possibility to attend several official competition finals.

An experiential zone dedicated to players

Divided into five "Hands-on" areas, each zone will offer visitors the opportunity to enjoy the latest games on the latest generation of ROG.

  • In partnership with Activision Blizzard, enjoy Call Of Duty Modern Warfare II (2022) on the most powerful laptop of the ROG range, the ROG Strix Scar 17 SE.
  • In partnership with Activision Blizzard, get access to Overwatch 2 on the ROG Strix G17, the best value for money laptop.
  • In partnership with Riot Games, and available on the ROG Strix Scar 15 – the perfect laptop for any accomplished gamer - League Of Legends.
  • In partnership with Orelsan - ambassador of the Esport structure BK ROG, demonstrate your fighting skills during an exclusive hands-on session of the game Civilisation Fighters.

This game, created and produced by Orelsan and based on his universe, is played on an arcade terminal and is intended to be accessible with easy-to-learn gameplay. Originally developed for Orelsan's 2022 music tour, it is finally a « Civilisation Fighters Tour Edition » competition that is being run in partnership with FNAC and ASUS ROG on 11 concert dates of Orelsan's autumn music tour and 5 FNAC sales outlets. This versus fighting game is taking advantage of the Paris Games Week to add two competition dates on 2 and 5 November. Visitors will have the opportunity to compete against each other to become one of Orelsan's game champions.

Set up as a stage, several of the brand's ambassadors as well as some of the most talked about influencers will take to the stage during the five days of the event for game demonstrations:

The first ROG Masters France in exclusivity 

In this same area, ROG will launch its first ROG Masters France exclusively at Paris Games Week. These are leagues developed by ASUS ROG France on several games bringing together amateur and experienced players from all walks of life.

Two games are concerned and will see players compete in memorable finals:

  • Super Smash Bros. Ultimate (Wednesday 2 November)
  • League Of Legends (Friday 4 November)

This first edition of the ROG Masters France on SSBU and LOL is the first of a long series. Other editions will be held after PGW.

 

Esports in the spotlight on the ROG stand

The booth will also host the French Clash Of Clans Cup final on Sunday, November 6th, with the winning team automatically qualifying for the ROG Masters Clash Of Clans starting on November 12th.

This zone will also be animated by members of Team BDS with LRIAA who will be doing a demo on the Warzone game, and Adam who you will be able to face in 1V1 on the League Of Legends game. But also from Team BK ROG Esports with Gardoum and Koba who will play with the public on the game League Of Legends.

Finally, three technology enthusiasts - Guillaume Tech, Jigfio and Pax - as well as the glass artist Emi Sphère, who specialises in engraving and stained glass, will be running a PC assembly workshop on stage.
